By completing Wood Badge, Scouters gain essential skills in listening, communication, conflict resolution, project planning, and leading change. Participants also develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of diversity and the many differences that strengthen our society. They will develop skills that make them more effective Scout leaders. Units led by trained leaders can offer a stronger program and provide a more meaningful experience for the youth they serve.
